Here is proud Dad !
And here is proud mom...no pictures of my face are allowed to be viewed by others!
Little one was brought to the world by way of c-section, which in more way than one, was a blessing. He is perfect, or so we think!
A little bit of our morning story:
Maddman stayed with his cousins the night before and daddy-o and I arrived at the hospital shortly after 6am, after all...why should I be on time for the birth of our son, I didn't want to have too much happen out of the ordinary. (daddy-o couldn't believe, at first, that I was making us late, but after saying that, he corrected himself hehehe) After all, I had been up or at least awake since 12:30 that morning, I think a lot of things contributed to me not sleeping. I was moving a little slow due to sleep deprivation. They hooked me up to monitors and thankfully I had a better night shift RN this time, who was surprised that I was contracting and they were still planning a c-section. I let her know they'd been occuring for over a week now...tell me something I don't know, apparently they were fairly strong contractions, well at least it appeared that way on the monitor, but I think I'd gotten so used to them that I didn't care really what they were. And...of course...I'm super woman...didn't you know! hahaha yeah right!
Anyways...once I was finally prepped and ready to go, off to the OR I went with daddy-o close behind, and within a few short minutes we heard a cry. Okay, it was a little longer than a few short minutes, but that's all it seemed to be. My surgery would have gone a little longer, that is if they would have done the tummy tuck and lypo suction (probably way off on that spelling)...that I requested, but I was unsuccessful in my persuasion! :-)
In a nutshell, our little one came without any complications, which was new to us and we were told that we could even keep him in the room with us as much as we wanted! I felt like it was the first time I'd given birth, but only just the after birth process! :-)
